Important Points

  1. Transporting Golf Bags at RCGC: All golfers that have made travel plans with the SLAF, by bus, will be provided with a truck to carry your golf bags. The truck will depart the day prior, and the bags will be available for you at the Clubhouse when you reach China Bay.
  2. The bags will be tagged and accounted for and you will be issued with a receipt. Please make sure to bring this with you to China Bay so that we can verify that all items are in order at the course. The same to be followed when handing over the bags to the pro shop at the end of tournament play. Further, please note that we are responsible for the golf bags only during transportation to and from the golf course. We are not responsible for the bags during play time or for any activities after transportation.
  3. For those joining the SLAF Bus from Colombo: The bus will be parked at RCGC and will depart by 0530 Hrs on Friday, 20 February 2026. All those who are travelling in the bus are expected to be at the location on time.
  4. For snacks and toilet breaks, the bus will stop at an agreed location. The bus can make a maximum of 2 more stops if required, so please coordinate among each other accordingly.
  5. Registration at Eagles’ Golf Links: All golfers travelling with SLAF transport by road, and by themselves are requested to come to Eagles’ Golf Links Clubhouse as their first entry point during the tournament due to the following:
    • To obtain details of accommodation
    • To facilitate practice rounds
  6. All rooms have been arranged with your requests and comfort in mind. Facilities will be available from AM hours on 20 February 2026.
  7. Transport to and from Accommodation Locations: Shuttle transport is provided for golfers between Eagles’ Golf Links, Bayview, and Marble Beach at scheduled times and for advance requests only.
  8. Time of Tee Off: Play will begin promptly. Golfers must be ready at the Clubhouse by 0620 Hrs on Saturday, 21 February for the Tournament Brief.
  9. Buses from Bayview and Marble Beach will depart at 0550 Hrs and 0540 Hrs respectively.
  10. For family members not joining the early buses, transport will be arranged at the respective locations by 0800 Hrs.
  11. Breakfast for golfers will be available at the 5th, 10th and 16th holes. Breakfast for guests will be available at the Clubhouse from 0800 Hrs – 0930 Hrs. Please limit time at snack points to maintain pace of play.
  12. Beer will be available on payment basis (one beer complimentary for each player) before lunch.
  13. Going to the beach: After play, golfers may visit Marble Beach for a sea-bath. Transport will be provided on request, keeping the Award Ceremony schedule in mind.
  14. Award Ceremony and Dinner Reception: Begins at 1930 Hrs on Saturday, 21 February 2026. Guests should be present at Bayview by 1900 Hrs. Dress code: Smart Casual. Buses will depart at 1825 Hrs from Marble Beach via Clubhouse.
  15. Apart from complimentary spirits, beverages will be available on payment basis at the Bayview Bar on 21 February 2026.
  16. Breakfast before departure: On Sunday, 22 February 2026, breakfast will be ready at the Clubhouse from 0730 Hrs – 0930 Hrs. Transport will be provided from accommodation areas.
  17. Before you depart, please visit the official Commander’s Cup website and download all your tournament images.
